Your input and support is essential to the creation of our Neighbourhood Plan.

We will hold community consultation events over the course of developing the Neighbourhood Plan. The next events are expected to take place once we have published our draft Plan in late 2018. This will give you an opportunity to give your feedback on the draft document and to ask any questions. Dates and locations will appear here.

Our earlier consultation events are listed below.


In March-April 2016, we held a Neighbourhood Plan Survey to ensure that our Plan is based on a proper understanding of the views, wants and needs of local people and businesses.

We received 482 completed survey forms. These were independently analysed. We held 3 community feedback events in July 2016 to present the key findings of the survey. Invitations went to every household in the parish.

Before starting out to create a Neighbourhood Plan for our parish, we held a series of four informal community consultation events to invite the views of residents in September 2015. The dates and locations of the drop-in events are below together with the number of attendees.

A letter about the Neighbourhood Plan and the consultation events was sent to every household in the parish.

In total, 236 residents took part in the community consultation. All ages were represented.  One of the youngest contributors was 6 years of age. Another had recently celebrated his 86th birthday. There was a good representation of views from across our parish. This map shows the postcodes of contributors. The size of the bubble indicates the relative number of people from each postcode in the parish who attended.

Thank you to everyone that took the time to take part. We enjoyed meeting you all.  Your input and support is vital to the success of this project. If you were unable to attend one of the events, you can still contribute to the community consultation on this website and at future community events.

    Hello .
    Just moved into the area and come across a major problem .i will pop in on the Saturday and would be interested in chatting to anyone that deals with the byways in the area .

      Welcome Mrs Pullen. We look forward to meeting you on Saturday. Our community consultation events are primarily an information gathering exercise to inform our Neighbourhood Plan but there will be members of the Parish Council present and the Borough Councillor so they should be able to advise you or tell you where you can get help.
